We launched our HUB in Melbourne with an inaugural event. With this event, we pursued our commitment to support the growth of the coffee industry in the Oceania region.
Situated near Melbourne’s CBD, the commonly dubbed “Coffee Capital of the World” is now home to the Melbourne HUB. The showroom has a fully immersive area where professional baristas can intimately familiarize themselves with the machines and figure out which will most effectively suit their exploratory needs.
Millie Chan, Gruppo Cimbali’s Regional Director of Asia and Pacific says: “There has been a growing fascination in the Oceania region with experimenting different settings to achieve various flavor profiles of coffee. Especially in Australia, coffee is viewed as a way of life, placing importance on quality, paying close attention to the origin and type of bean used, roasting, and taking the time to enjoy the outcome itself. We’re proud to be able to provide such a space to encourage experimentation and allow creativity to flourish with our machines.”
Enrico Bracesco, General Manager of Gruppo Cimbali, comments: “The coffee culture in Australia is astounding and we are very excited to take part and contribute to it. Our presence in the Oceania region and collaboration with APAC allows us to foster a positive and even educational relationship with the coffee community that has been so devoted to promoting coffee culture around the world. Thanks to the advanced capabilities of our machines, professionals do not have to settle for a ‘one-size-fits-all’ machine but is exposed to a variety of brands that can aid them on their journey to brewing better coffee.”
A variety of our machines will be on display:
Our fully automatic machines such as LaCimbali S30 and LaCimbali S15 are ideal for high-volume coffee production while their latest high-end model from the traditional line, LaCimbali M200, was designed for those who prefer the control and flexibility manual machines offer when extracting espresso. Providing the perfect accompaniment to these machines, grinder-dosers like LaCimbali Elective AT are present.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by a large number of clients, distributors, coffee gurus, and a series of roasters including Lavazza, Illy, Grinders Coffee, Toby’s Estate, Padre Coffee, and Pablo & Rusty’s.
The event took place on Thursday, May 19 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm on Level 1, 1 Nelson St., Abbotsford, Melbourne, VIC, Australia 3067.
